Recorrido por el sendero de los Apalaches (Appalachian Trail), a su paso por el estado de Maine (Estados Unidos), en sentido de sur a norte, desde la intersección del sendero con la South Arm Road y Black Brook, hasta la ruta ME-17, próxima a la localidad de Oquossoc, ME.

La etapa se corresponde con la sección 7.1, según la distribución de secciones del Appalachian Trail en las guías y mapas oficiales, en Maine.

    Yes. These sections of the Appalachian Trail in Maine are doing just me, although you know ..... in the AT you're almost never alone. Greetings!

    The primary source is official guides and maps. There are many (one or more for each State).

    There are also quite a few small guides that concentrate the whole route in a single manual, for example: http://atctrailstore.org/guides-maps/?sort=featured&page=3
    You can also download a computer application and electronic maps.

    All this you can find and buy in
    Http://atctrailstore.org/guides-maps/ or in some specialized mountain shops. You can also find them on Amazon.

    The numbers 170, 158, 54, etc. Is the stage number counted from Springer (Georgia), that is the number of days hiked to that location. Obviously, everyone has their rhythm and prepares the stages in their own way. There are those who hike 20 miles a day or more, and there are those who hike 8 or 10. It depends, not only on the physical form of each one, but also on many other factors, mainly you are looking to start and finish each stage at a road point, or If you decide to stay overnight on the mountain in a shelter, or if you camp freely anywhere.

    Normally, the full AT course is 6 months (about 180 stages), but there are those who complete it in 5 and a half months, and who does it in 6 and a half months or even 7.
