What an impressive place! The views are spectacular and the paths well maintained. It was winter so there was little greenery but the temperatures just right for waling. About 20 C. Shortly after the start we accidentally turned left. Look out for some mud steps ahead when you come across a path running at right angles. Go up these. If you do follow my route don't worry, it makes very little difference.
On the photo of the valley there are a number of small animals soaking up the sun, Rock Hyrax. (In English).
The grass it burned once every two years to allow rainwater to absorb into the land rather than run off and cause flash floods downstream.
You can just make out a secretary bird which I have enlarged.
