We took the train from nyc to cold spring and walked to the beginning of the Washburn trail. We then walked along Washburn. Right at the beginning there was a steep climb. We stayed on Washburn for 40 minutes for 1.4 miles. We then moved the Undercliff trail which lasted much longer than we had anticipated - it took us almost 80 minutes. Lot of boulder climbing and descending on this trail. From here we moved to the Breakneck Ridge trail. Steep ascent to a view point and then moderate ups and downs - stayed on the BR trail for an hour. We then took the Notch trail for 30 minutes. And then the Brook trail for 20 minutes. The last bit was the Cornish trail - did not like this trail because you have to walk on paved trail for a while. Came back to the parking lot where we had started the hike. The trail was 7.7 miles long not including the walk to and from the station - not sure why Wikiloc shows on 6.3.
