Is this trail easy to follow with GPS and is it safe?

It should be easy to follow. The only thing I see "wrong" about this track is that you should probably go more to the west when going down from Ljósafell.
Are you planing to do this track now or in the summer time?

Thanks for replying! I hadn't seen your message. Yes we're leaving in a month for iceland and I'm checking all the trails again to make sure ;)
