Nice walk from Maboge towards Bérismenil. Good shoes for muddy terrain needed. You follow different markings.
From Maboge you go along national road N860 with views on the valley of Ourthe until there is a small parking on your right. You go through the parking and continue further into forest. At km 1.2 you turn slightly left and follow yellow cross markings with number 7, all the time uphill. You walk on a dirt road, asphalt (after leaving the forest and reaching open spaces), path through pastures and scrub and on the way you have some views.
At km 3.3, you turn sharply to the right and follow yellow losange markings with number 1 back to Maboge. You go along a stream downhill on a dirt road and a muddy path, crossing the stream at least two times. It is easy to get your shoes wet, and to lose trail markings from your sight.
Around km 4.53 there is a fork and you turn right to go back to Maboge through the forest slightly uphill and then downhill. You converge to the road you took from the parking.
As an alternative, on the fork at km 4.53 you can go left, go down to the river (l'Ourthe) and back to Maboge.
