The River Trail on the south and east bank of the Puntledge River below Comox Lake and between the dams is a pleasant, gentle walk out-and-back of anywhere up to 8 kms (5 miles).
This is just west of the roadside parking area and 50 meters east of the bridge.
This is looking back and forward at a point where the easiest path is along a chainlink fence going by the upper dam.
This is the first dam that controls the water flow into the Puntledge and the level of Comox Lake.
