Albania 2021: Çorovodë - Përmet

  Dear Rafastryk, What a great track! I’m planning to do more or less your Albania trip. How hard was this part from Çorovodë to Përmet? How many km was unpaved? Kind regards, Adriaan

  Hi, except of the beginning and the last part on the SH75, the rest of the trip was unpaved. We had to push our bikes not only on the climb but also on a large part of the descent due to large stones which our narrow tires could not overcome. But it depends on what kind of bike you ride and what form you have.
  The views are really cool, I really recommend this route. There is a small bar on the halfway where you can get a drink and eat something.
  
  Our plan for this day was to get to Benjë (see the next day), but we were exhausted and decided to stay in Permet. I would recommend you to get directly to Benjë and stay there for the night. Permet is not really interesting in my opinion.

  Thanks! We hesitate, we also have narrow tires, maybe the road over Prishtë and Ballaban is better for bicycles. But the views on the track you did are amazing. Your photos are wonderful… Thanks a lot for your useful advice!

  Hello Rafastryk, thanks for sharing this useful information, especially as inplan to ridecthis road by the end of April. One question: how is the situation with dogs in that area: stray-/shepherd-dogs and any advise on how you dealt with them?
