Hola me gustaría hacer esta ruta en verano durmiendo en tienda d techo….que opináis para agosto ? cuantos días estuvisteis ?

Gracias por visitaren y veniren a Portugal!
Esta ruta, en la zona de la costa de prata, pasa en muchos locales proibidos. No se puede circular tan cerca de la playa o en la playa. Actualmente, la policia (GNR, ICNF, SEPNA) están fiscalizando más estas zonas y incluso tienen drones para poder fiscalizar estas zonas a distancia. Hay que tener cuidado cuando se hace esta zona de la ruta y tener siempre una postura más “amiga y calma” con la policia para que la abordaje sea más de “sensibilizar” y no de multar.
Conozco toda la ruta y es distinta del norte a sur, pero muy muy guapa. Se recomenda!

Carlos - I am currently at Orbitur Vagueira. Was planning to do this tour . What are your thoughts about the authorities control? I already got stopped and details taken further north only 100m onto a track near Maceda é Cool beach bar. I’m keen to avoid this happening again! Thanks

Ben D, i think that in Winter the authorities have a less control at costa de prata, but is necessary take carefull and dont stay a lot of time in zones very close to the beach. Stay in the beach with your 4x4 vehicle is not autorized!! For you road in relax you need be outlying 500 meters of the primary dune.
For all the others parts of the track, no problem, enjoy it!

Carlos - thanks for the reply. I’ll keep to the more inland areas. Is it still ok to drive along the sand tracks in the pine forests? I’m hoping to head to the English Well, is that still ok to drive 4x4 at?

Put the tires between 0,5 - 0,8 bar and enjoy the track! Normally, in my cooper stt pro tires I use 0,6 bar for road in the sand without difficulties.. Better lower pressures.
